RFA .NET
Group ID a.k.a item group is “RFA.Common.Buffer” type and is treated as opaque data when set on the Manifest of the RespMsg. The actual data contained in the buffer is collection of one or more 2 byte integer values.

Remarks

GroupID class provides methods for decoding and encoding the actual data contained in the buffer in host byte order and network byte order respectively. A provider application may use Append()/ SetFromList() and GetAsBuffer() methods to encode a collection of one Or more 2 byte interegrs values in network byte order. A consuming application may use SetFromBuffer() and GetAsList() methods to decode the group ID received from the network into host byte order. in network byte order.
