RFA .NET
Encodes the series from the fields of the RDMFieldDictionary by specifying verbosity to encode and able to enable/disable dictionary fragmentation.

Namespace: ThomsonReuters.RFA.RDM
Assembly: RFA8_NET110_x64 (in RFA8_NET110_x64.dll) Version: 8.0.1.1

	bool doFragmentation
)
F#
member EncodeRDMFieldDictionary :
        series:Series *
        verbosity:uint32 *
        doFragmentation:bool -> bool

Parameters

series
Type: ThomsonReuters.RFA.Data..::..Series
The series to be encoded with RDMFieldDictionary data.
verbosity
Type: System..::..UInt32
The desired verbosity to encode. Only DICTIONARY_INFO and DICTIONARY_NORMAL are supported. If a value other than ‘DICTIONARY_INFO’ Or ‘DICTIONARY_NORMAL’ is passed, the value will be treated as ‘DICTIONARY_NORMAL’
doFragmentation
Type: System..::..Boolean
True - If the application wants to fragment the dictionary into multiple parts during encoding. False - If the application does not want to fragment the dictionary into multiple parts during encoding. The entire dictionary will be encoded into the series.

Return Value

True - If the dictionary is encoded completely. False - If dictionary is encoded partially. This happens:- -When the user asks for fragmentation and the data is not completely encoded.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
ThomsonReuters.RFA.Common..::..InvalidUsageException The series cannot be encoded.
